Chatous Check Session API

Check whether a Chatous connect.sid cookie is still accepted. Returns Chatous's own verdict (0 authenticated, 1111 anonymous or expired) so an expired session is reported as data rather than as a failure.

How to call it

Send one POST to api.upapi.io/chatous-check-session.get with your key in the X-Api-Key header and the parameters below as a JSON body. Each call spends 1 weighted unit of your monthly quota. The operation times out after 30 seconds. Responses are not cached; every call runs the operation.

Request parameters

proxyUrl
string — Optional proxy URL to send this request through. Omit to call Chatous directly. Pass the exit the account normally uses if you keep one per account.
connectSid
stringrequired — The account's connect.sid cookie value, as set on chatous.com when the account signed in.

Response fields

valid
booleanrequired — True when Chatous still accepts this connectSid.
checkedAt
stringrequired
elapsedMs
integerrequired
returnCode
integerrequired — Chatous's own verdict: 0 = authenticated, 1111 = anonymous or expired. Returned so a caller can tell those two apart from any future third value.

Example request and response

The example response is generated from this operation’s published output schema — it shows the shape and field names, not values from a recorded call.

  "connectSid": "example"
}
json — example response shape
{
  "valid": false,
