Why we do this
upAPI grows by word of mouth, not ad budgets. When you bring in someone who ends up paying for upAPI, we'd rather share that revenue with you than spend it on ads. That's the whole program: no tiers, no applications, no fine print beyond the Partner Terms.

How payouts work
- Commissions are held up to 120 days to cover refunds and chargebacks; the hold gets shorter as your referrals prove out.
- Withdrawing for the first time asks you to complete a one-time Stripe setup.
- You can withdraw once your cleared earnings reach $50.
What counts
- Paid subscriptions and their renewals, for the first 12 months.
- Refunds and chargebacks reverse the commission they earned.
- Your own accounts do not count.

A refunded or charged-back payment takes its commission back. If the commission was already paid out, the amount is netted against your next payout.
No. Your link already exists and there is nothing to switch on. Stripe payout details are only asked for when you withdraw.
