Open Graph checker
Paste a URL and this Open Graph checker fetches the page the way a link-preview crawler does, then lists the tags a social network or chat app reads to build its preview: og:title, og:description, og:image, og:type, og:site_name, the Twitter Card title, description and image, the HTML title, meta description, canonical URL and favicon.
No account and no key: each IP address gets 30 runs a minute and 300 a day across all of these tools.
Call it from code, without a key
The box above calls this endpoint. JSON by default; send Accept: text/markdown for Markdown. Errors are RFC 9457 problem documents.

Questions
Does the checker run the page’s JavaScript?
No. It reads the HTML the server returns, which is what link-preview crawlers read too. Tags that a script adds after the page loads are not seen by most previews either, so they are not reported here.
Why do I still see an old preview after fixing my tags?
Results for the same URL are cached for up to an hour, and every social network keeps its own copy of a preview as well. A change shows up here once the hour has passed; each network refreshes on its own schedule.
Can it reach a page on my local network?
No. Private, loopback and link-local addresses are refused, including through a redirect, so only pages on the public internet can be checked.
Can I call it from code?
Yes: send a GET request to the endpoint shown on this page with the url parameter; no key is needed. Without a key each IP address gets 30 runs a minute and 300 a day across all free tools. For more, the same operation is available with an upAPI key at 1 unit per call.
Need more than the free limits?
This tool runs the opengraph-parse.get operation. With an upAPI key it has no per-IP limit, and the same key reaches every other API in the catalog.
